Great Big Green Week talk: Healthy Homes

As part of The Great Big Green Week, Peter Bywater, Managing Director of Ridgewater Energy, will be speaking on behalf of Healthy Homes Dorset.

Peter has had a keen interest in the environment since his early teens. After studying Environmental Science at Bournemouth University, he started in the energy efficiency sector in 1997 and in 2000 went to work for EAGA who managed the government’s Warmfront scheme.

From 2005-2016 he worked at Dorset Energy Advice Centre (part of the Energy Saving Trusts network of energy advice centres) and had been involved with most energy saving initiatives from government and Dorset local authorities during that time, including his work with private landlords in Bournemouth which won several industry awards.

Ridgewater Energy which Peter formed in 2017, is a project management and energy advice organisation focused on delivering local programmes to help people in fuel poverty and those seeking to reduce their carbon emissions.
