Blandford Literary Festival Talks

The museum is very pleased to host two talks as part of the Blandford Literary Festival 2024.

11:30 am: The Winter Visitor & The Spire

Nick Andrew and Tanya Hinton will take you on a journey as they talk about the books they have created in this family talk. This links into our new exhibition of Nick and Tanya’s art in the Museum Gallery.

1:30 pm: The Plant People

Anna Lewington will explain the ideas behind her most recent children’s book: The Plant People. An adventure story set in Kew Gardens, The Plant People was written to help young people understand that many of the things they use each day – from books to bicycle tyres – are made from raw materials produced by plants.

Entrance to each talk is £4 for adults, children free.
