The second lecture in our Autumn 2021 series will be given by Harry Manley, who is a demonstrator in Geoinformatics in the Department of Life & Environmental Science at Bournemouth University.
New LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging) data and recent geophysical surveying around the Roman villa at Frampton have revealed more about the water source and the route of the aqueduct that supplied fresh water to Roman Dorchester. Harry has researched the path of the aqueduct in Dorchester with surprising results.
