In this fascinating lecture, Dan Carter will talk about his research for his Ph.D. at Bournemouth University. He has explored the distribution and trade of Verwood-type pottery through time using archaeology, historical documents and materials science to build a picture of this local industry from the earliest production, through to its heyday and subsequent decline.
