Archaeology Group Finds Day

Have you ever found something in your garden or out on a walk and wondered what it was? Bring it along and we’ll see if we can reveal its hidden history.

Claire Pinder, County Archaeologist and Ciorstaidh Hayward-Trevarthen, Portable Antiquities Scheme will be at Blandford Town museum to identify and date any finds you might have, and perhaps explain what they were used for.

Appointments can be booked between 10 and 11.30am by emailing finds@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk  or calling 01305 224921. Between 11.30am and 1pm you can drop in with no appointment.
